The iCAUR V25, a rugged new SUV with a distinctly old-school personality, has been unveiled at the 2026 iCAUR International User Summit. The vehicle joins the brand’s growing V-Series line-up, sitting between the V23 and V27, and brings together boxy retro styling with the latest electric-drive technology.
At the launch, the company framed the V25 around a simple question: what makes a vehicle beloved not just today, but ten years down the line? Its answer is what it calls “future-classic” design — clean lines, an instantly recognisable shape, and classic details carried forward with modern technology and new-energy powertrains.
That philosophy shows most clearly in the SUV’s proportions. The V25 keeps a tall, upright stance with a height-to-width ratio of 0.96, close to one-to-one, paired with a sharp front face and an upright windscreen. A crisp waistline runs the length of the body, flared wheel arches give it a planted look, and a 21-inch wheel option underlines its substantial presence. Round headlamps — a signature of classic SUVs — are reinterpreted as modern circular LED units that cast a distinctive light signature, while a layered grille and chunky front bumper complete the square-jawed face.
The classic treatment continues at the back, where a side-hinged tailgate nods to traditional off-roaders, a wide rear bumper matches the boxy body, and a block-shaped high-mounted stop lamp adds another recognisable detail. According to the company, the V25 has been deliberately stripped of fussy lines and flourishes in favour of restrained, confident styling.
Underneath the retro shell, the V25 is thoroughly modern. Buyers will be able to choose between an extended-range powertrain and a fully battery-electric version, depending on whether their driving is mostly urban commuting or long-distance travel. The four-wheel-drive variant uses an intelligent all-wheel-drive system that shifts power between the wheels to suit road conditions, giving the SUV genuine ability both in the city and off the beaten track.
iCAUR is also pitching the V25 as a vehicle built around the owner’s lifestyle. More than twenty reserved mounting points are built into the car, and a range of official accessories — from camping kit to outdoor living gear — will let owners customise it for their own adventures. The idea, the company says, is that the vehicle should remain open, flexible and personal over years of ownership.
The V25 arrives at a time when boxy, characterful SUVs are enjoying a strong revival with buyers who are tired of lookalike crossovers. If iCAUR can deliver the promised blend of timeless design and dependable electric range at a competitive price, the V25 could become the model that defines the young brand’s identity — and a serious contender in the crowded affordable-SUV segment.
