Accuracy is the foundation of DailyUpdate47. We work hard to get every story right before publication — and when we don’t, we fix it quickly, openly, and visibly.
Our commitment
Every story is checked against its sources before it goes live. Factual errors are corrected as soon as they are confirmed — usually within hours, not days. Corrections are never hidden. Significant fixes carry a visible correction note on the article itself.
What counts as a correction
Factual errors: Wrong names, dates, figures, quotes, or descriptions of events. These are always corrected with a note.
Material updates: When a story develops (new figures, an official statement, a reversed decision), we update the article and, for significant developments, note what changed.
Clarifications: Where wording was accurate but misleading or incomplete, we clarify it.
Typos and style: Minor spelling or grammar fixes that don’t change meaning are corrected silently.
How corrections appear
For substantive errors, the corrected article carries a dated note such as: “Correction (Oct 24, 2026): An earlier version of this article misstated the auction date. It is January 23, 2027.” The original error is not rewritten out of history — readers can see what changed and why.
How to report an error
Email us at celebrill22@gmail.com with: (1) the article’s headline or link, (2) what you believe is wrong, (3) the correct information and, if possible, a source. We review every report. If you’re right, we fix it and note it. If we need more information, we’ll ask.
Anonymous and confidential reports: You don’t have to give your name to report an error. If you share sensitive information, tell us it’s confidential and we will protect your identity.
Complaints and accountability: If you believe a correction was handled unfairly, reply to our response and it will be reviewed again by a senior editor.
Why this matters
Trust is a news site’s only real currency. We would rather correct ourselves loudly than be caught quietly. Hold us to it: celebrill22@gmail.com
