Vivo V80 FE Surfaces on Official Philippines Page With 7,000mAh Battery and Triple 50MP ZEISS Cameras

Vivo appears close to adding a more affordable member to its V80 family, after the V80 FE showed up on the company’s official website in the Philippines with its full specifications on display. The listing carries no price or sale date yet, with the page simply marking the phone as coming soon. A complete official product page is usually one of the clearest signs that a launch is near, so buyers who liked the standard V80 but hoped for a lower price now have a concrete reason to wait before deciding.

The standard V80 is still fresh, having launched in India in early October 2026 as a camera-first phone with a large battery and a bright, smooth display. The FE follows the same broad recipe but makes a few careful trims to reach a lower price. Understanding those trims, and what has been kept intact, is the key to judging whether the cheaper model is genuinely good value.

Design and Performance

The V80 FE carries a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2750 by 1260 pixels, a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and a local peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits, with 1,800 nits available in high brightness mode. That is the same screen size as the standard V80, although the standard model refreshes faster at up to 144Hz and reaches a higher peak brightness of 5,000 nits. In everyday use the FE panel should still feel fluid and remain readable outdoors.

Durability is one area where Vivo has not compromised. The phone carries both IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, a level of protection that remains unusual in this part of the market and should give owners more confidence around rain, splashes and dusty conditions. An optical fingerprint scanner sits under the display, and the phone will be offered in Chill Green and Sparkling Gold, pairing a calm, muted colour with a brighter, more eye-catching one.

Under the hood, the V80 FE runs on MediaTek’s Dimensity 7400-Turbo chipset, built on a 4nm process, paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, with an 8GB plus 128GB configuration also listed. The software is OriginOS 7 based on Android 17, the same pairing found on the standard V80, and a vapour chamber cooling system helps keep temperatures under control during gaming and other demanding tasks. That combination should handle daily multitasking, streaming and most mobile games comfortably, even though it is a step away from the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip in the standard model.

Camera and Battery

Photography remains central to the V80 FE’s pitch, and the ZEISS branding returns in full. The rear setup pairs a 50-megapixel ZEISS main camera with optical image stabilisation and a 50-megapixel ZEISS ultra-wide camera with autofocus, while the front camera is another 50-megapixel ZEISS unit, also with autofocus. All three cameras support video recording at up to 4K resolution, so creators and casual shooters alike get the same headline resolution from every lens.

The most important difference from the standard V80 sits in this camera department. The standard model adds a third rear camera, a 50-megapixel telephoto with three-times optical zoom, alongside a smaller 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera. The FE drops the telephoto entirely and instead gives buyers a much stronger ultra-wide camera, with the same 50-megapixel resolution as the main sensor. For people who photograph landscapes, large groups and interiors, that trade may actually be welcome, but anyone who regularly zooms in on distant subjects will feel the loss. It is the clearest example of how Vivo has lowered the price.

Battery life, by contrast, is barely trimmed at all. The V80 FE packs a 7,000mAh BlueVolt battery with support for 90W wired fast charging, only slightly smaller than the standard V80’s 7,200mAh cell, the largest battery Vivo had put in a V series phone. The FE also supports reverse charging, so it can share power with another device when needed. A battery of this size should comfortably carry most users through a full day of heavy use, while 90W charging means a low battery does not have to mean a long wait.

The same model number, V2624, has reportedly appeared in certification databases in Thailand, India and Malaysia, hinting at a wider Asian release, though nothing so far confirms a Pakistan launch or a local price. In the end, the V80 FE looks like a deliberately balanced compromise rather than a phone built around a single headline feature. It keeps the large battery, fast charging, strong durability ratings, current software and a capable ZEISS camera system, while giving up the telephoto lens, some display headroom and the faster Snapdragon chip of the standard model. Whether that balance works will depend almost entirely on the price Vivo eventually announces, since the FE’s appeal rests on costing noticeably less than the standard V80. Until that price appears, the listing is best read as a promising preview: a familiar V series phone, trimmed in sensible places, waiting for the one detail that will decide how it is received.
